Performance photography is perhaps one of the most difficult areas in photography. Dance, theatre and music all require a minimum level of light and generally live performance is presented in low, variable and changing lighting situations creating a challenging set of conditions to conquer.

Then there is negotiating crowds and the pressure of one off performances to create great images. Capturing great images in this setting is really the domain of an experienced photographer.

Nigel has over 15yrs of experience in photographing both professional and non-professional performance. In fact, Nigel himself was a professional musician/songwriter and still gets the time to compose on his fender guitar in between his photographic pursuits.
